WP3 - Electrical Solutions

The objective of WP3 is to provide electrical solutions being part of a novel approach to the design of battery systems applicable to several use cases among the main transport or mobile applications. Considering the use of novel cell chemistries, state-of-the-art solutions must be validated and new constraints in terms of (functional) safety, sensing
(e.g., cell voltage, temperature, humidity) and system architectures (e.g., partitioning of electronics) will be addressed. Furthermore, the electrical architecture and system design must enable the essential (semi)-automated battery pack process of assembly and disassembly.
This WP will provide solutions for electrical and electronics design to be tested, validated, and demonstrated in WP7.
